Megan Wacha, Scholarly Communications Librarian, Office of Library Services

People around the world visit Wikipedia when they want to learn  about a new topic, but did you know it's one of the primary traffic  drivers to peer-reviewed research as well? This session will introduce  attendees to the "encyclopedia anyone can edit," with a specific focus  on its relationship to the scholarly community. Topics will include the  representation of researchers and their work, as well the use of  Wikipedia in the classroom.
